Testing Posterous

Wow seems like such a long time since I started this blog. A lot has been happening over the past weeks in preparation of the trip ahead. From sorting out visas, paying mutiple visits to the surgey for vaccinations, spending hours researching and buying equipment and clothing, moving stuff to storage to saying goodbye to Ringo the cat. I'm currently spending the last moments printing typing and orgsniasing on my beloved Apple iMac which I'm about to list for sale onon eBay.  Still seems like a lot to sort out before leaving, but we're getting there. The house is getting empty pretty fast and even the telly has gone, which means no more XBox :( We've set the date of departure as 18th November flying from London to Trivandrum to spend around 3 months in India before moving southwards in SE Asia.

This blog will hope to document my journey into the unknown as my girlfriend and I have decided to go travelling for a while. Starting in India and moving onto as yet undecided number of Asia countries, we hope to travel and experience different places for at least a year. What happens after that, we don't know.
